INTRODUCTION

Financial statements are the avenues through which those within communicate with those outside. While it is prudent for those within to make quality statements in particular appreciating the rules governing the preparation and presentation, it is also prudent for the users to appreciate the statements especially their meaning and implication on their economic decisions.

 OBJECTIVES

At the end of this training seminar, you will learn to:

v  Regulatory framework of accounting

v  Overview of IAS/IFRS/IPSAs relevant for the preparation and presentation of the financial statements;

v  Professional ethics (ethical, legal and social issues);

v  Fraudulent financial reporting;

v  Reporting: Triple bottom line;

METHODOLOGY

The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.

All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.

TRAINING VENUE, LOGISTICS AND PAYMENT
