ICT STRATEGY, GOVERNANCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTRODUCTION With the increasing tendency in undertaking large and complex ICT projects, there is need to address the issue concerning risks involved in project failure. This course provides the foundation for ICT strategy and the reasons why all organizations might need a governance framework. Key areas discovered include: market trends that could enable or disrupt an organization’s services; the impact of technology changes on human capital; and key risks, constraints and cost implications associated with technology choices. It also examines factors that are critical to the successful implementation of large public ICT projects and considers the methods, tools, techniques and skills needed to be able to positively influence a project’s success.
