Donor funded projects aim to promote development by strengthening organizations at the community level .Audit of Donor funded project is challenging given the complexity and nature of projects. In addition key stakeholders may have different expectations. Officials working with Donor funded projects are faced with competing demands such as the management of projects within budget, quality and time. This Afriex training enables those involved with projects to become efficient and effective in the acquisition and utilization of funds for development purposes, using appropriate techniques and application of accounting and finance principles.
Auditors have a greater role to play in ensuring accountability of donor funds.
The program is designed for Managers and officers whose work is closely related to donor funded projects and community based projects. Participants may be drawn from the public sector, NGOs or private sector organizations engaged in projects that entail public-private partnerships.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:

The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.
All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.
